SUSAN BRADLEY DRAKE's Obituary
PERRY –
Susan Dorothy Bradley Drake, 71, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 5, 2021. At her request, there will be no memorial services. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Hazel Colson Hospice House, Heart of Georgia Hospice, 1120 Morningside Drive, Perry, GA 31069.
Susan was born in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, to the late Richard and Jane McGill Bradley. She earned an Associates Degree in Fashion Merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Technology, then used her education and talent working for Gimball Brothers. Susan also earned a Bachelor’s Degree from New York State University in Buffalo. She married the love of her life, Wayne Drake. After some years, his job was relocated, and the couple moved to Georgia in 2001.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Susan are her loving and devoted husband of fifty years, Wayne Drake of Perry; her children, Aaron Drake of Warner Robins, and Anton Drake (Christina) of Manifee, California; her grandchildren, Maja Drake, Alyssa Drake, and Tajaree Bond; one great-grandchild, Anna Bond; her siblings, Richard Bradley, Carol Karchner, and Donna Buck (Ronald); and several nieces and nephews.
