SUE SANDERS MORROW's Obituary
FLOWERY BRANCH, GA – Allie Sue Sanders Morrow, 78, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. The family will visit with friends on Thursday, July 5, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary at First Baptist Church of Perry with the Funeral Service to begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Perry Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. Sue was born on July 3, 1939, in Edison, GA, to the late Oliver and Hazel Thompson Sanders. She was a graduate of Florida State University where she earned a Bachelor Degree in Music. Sue received her Masters of Education Degree from GA Southwestern College. She spent the majority of her life raising her family in Perry, GA. She was faithful to her Church and was pianist/organist for First Baptist Church in Perry and First Baptist Church of Ocilla, GA. Sue spent many years as a teacher of music to students in Perry, and her legacy through music will carry on for generations. Sue lived a wonderful life of love, and she will be missed by many. Sue was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of forty-eight years, Robert Franklin “Coach Bob” Morrow. Left to cherish the memories of Sue are her loving children, Cindy Morrow Sheppard of Gresham, Oregon, Oliver Hoke Morrow (Tammy) of Perry, and Merri Allison Morrow Hearn (George) of Suwanee; her grandchildren Timothy Sheppard, Robert Hoke Morrow, Abbie Morrow, George “Jay” Hearn, V, Christopher Hearn, and Allie Hearn; and her great-granddaughter, Lilly Munro. She is also survived by her sisters, Marihelyn Sanders Norman and Sybil Sanders Brown; her brother, Oliver Sanders, Jr.; her aunt, Helen Timmons; and many special in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
