Scarbrough Thomas Howell's Obituary
Age 74, a resident of Irvington, AL passed away peacefully in his home with family at his bedside on Tuesday, July 12, 2016. Tommy retired from Ingram Towing where he worked as a Port Engineer. He is survived by his son, Thomas Gary Howell (Melissa); son, Michael Allen Howell (Tracie); son, Stephen Reade Howell (Jeannie); 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and many more relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother Cammie Finley Howell; his father Frank Howell; his son, Ryan Howell; and his grandson, Brandon Howell. Tommy was a loyal man and extremely passionate about his family. The family would like to thank Diana, Christina, and Rodger, along with the entire staff of Kindred at Home Hospice for the exceptional care Tommy received during the last few months of his journey. Funeral service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 2 pm with visitation from 12 noon until service time. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens. Food & fellowship to follow at the home of Gary & Melissa Howell."Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him." 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
