SARA PYLES's Obituary
PERRY –
Sara Elizabeth McDaniel Pyles, 94, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 29, 2021. Funeral Services will be held at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home, in our chapel, on Thursday, April 1, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation, to express love and support for her family, will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at Watson Hunt Funeral Home. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, immediately following the services. Considering the current Covid pandemic, please wear a mask for the protection of everyone in attendance. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
Sara was born in Bleckley County, Georgia, to the late John and Nancy Mullis McDaniel. She married Charles “Pete” Pyles, and they made their home in Grovania. Most of her life was spent in and around the Grovania Community. Prior to recent years, she was very active at her home church, Grovania United Methodist Church, where she and her late husband faithfully served for many years.
Left to cherish the memories they shared with Sara are, her loving and devoted daughter, Jean Trice, of Perry; her grand-children, Carla Cyree (Jamie), of Warner Robins, Karen Widlowski (Mark), of Jasper, and Cameron Trice (Taryn), of Ft. Worth, Texas; her great-grandchildren, Shay Crooms, Tray Conner (Jade), Kevin Widlowski (Kaelyn), Kasey Widlowski, Will Trice, Jaxson Trice; two great-great grandchildren, Finn Conner and Jed Dowdy.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C.E. “Pete” Pyles, Jr., and grandson, Kevin Conner.
