SANDY COLLINS DEARTH's Obituary
Sandra Collins Dearth, Sandy, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, surrounded by family. She was 75. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home.
Sandy was born on October 2, 1949, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Vincent and Kathleen Collins. Sandy was a banker for 25 years before embarking on a pioneering career and entrepreneurship, creating the long-term success of the payroll and human resources business, National Work Force, which eventually evolved into Continuum HR. She continued running her business for nearly 30 years before retiring from the company.
Sandy was a woman of many passions, including a deep love for reading and interior design. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids; shopping, getting their nails done, crafts and games. Her enthusiasm for boating and camping, along with her interest in historical tours and traveling, filled her life with adventure and joy.
She is survived by her son, Bradley Dearth (Misty) of Cordele, GA; her beloved grandchildren, Harleigh and Kenleigh Dearth; her brother, Victor Samuel Collins; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Jerry Arndts; and her brother, Vince "Butch" Collins.
Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
