PERRY-Sandra Kay Hawver Grantham of Perry, Georgia passed away in the early morning hours of Thursday May 4, 2017. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2017, from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at 3:30 p.m. in Perry Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice Care Options, 306 North Davis Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31093.Sandra was born February 6, 1938, in Topeka, Kansas, to the late Melvin Walter Hawver and the late Emma Viola Potter Hawver. Heaven gained the sweetest angel when she passed away. It is with deepest sadness and much love that Sandra's family says goodbye to a wonderful woman. Sandra was a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She leaves a place in their hearts that can never truly be filled. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, James Nathan Grantham, Sr. Left to cherish the memories of Sandra are her five children, Joyce Ann Dugan (Stephen), Patricia Gail "Pati" Crumley, James N. "Skip" Grantham, Jr., Tracy Hawver Grantham, and Kathryn Lynn "Kathy" Robbins (Darrell); her siblings, Dianne Richmond (Delos), Gail S. Glass, Jerry L. Hawver (Rosemary), and Carol Ann Slavin. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to Mandy, Victoria, and Lisa for such wonderful help in the care of sweet Sandy.
