Sandra J. Darby's Obituary
Sandra J. Darby, age 76, a native of Rhode Island and a lifelong resident of Irvington and Bayou La Batre passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2014. She was a member of Bayou La Batre Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd P. Darby Sr. “PeJoe”, granddaughter, Devon E. Crosswhite. She is survived by her children, Floyd P. (Lynn) Darby Jr., James E. Darby, William A. Darby, Robert A. (Saundra) Darby, Emmy Darby, grandchildren, Naomi D. Toomey, Brandon Darby, Lacey Griggs, Bradley Darby, Eddie Darby, Jeremy Darby, 10 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In lieu of flowers donations made to BLB Church of God Children’s Department. Visitation will be held at the Bayou La Batre Church of God Argyle Rd. on Sunday, February 2, 2014 from 5 pm until 8 pm. Funeral service will be held at the church on Monday, February 3, 2014 at 10 am. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
