I didn't know Sam, but my grandson, Khalil Alexander did, he just lost his mother, my daughter crisi in july, so I do know the pain of a broken heart that you are feeling right now, no parent should ever have to lose their child, but I can tell you put your faith in GOD and He will help you, you will never get over this, but with GOD you will carry on, I pray for you.
