RYAN BOYD's Obituary
PERRY –
Ryan Allan Boyd passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was 20 years old. Services will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m., and the funeral will begin at 3:00 p.m. A private burial will be held in Perry Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Watson-Hunt Funeral Home, P. O. Box 52, Perry, GA 31069, to assist the family with the unexpected funeral costs.
A cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend, Ryan was born on October 14, 2004, in Warner Robins and lived all of his life in Houston County. He attended Centerville Elementary School, Mossy Creek Middle School, and Perry High School. While at Perry High School, Ryan completed several dual-enrollment classes in Automotive Mechanics through Central Georgia Technical College. He proudly graduated from PHS in 2023.
Ryan had a broad spectrum of interests and activities. He was a skilled and dedicated gamer, often competing online with friends and others across the country. A true adventurer at heart, he had an undeniable passion for fishing, skating, and riding motorcycles, always seeking the next thrill and enjoying the outdoors. He joined a local motorcycle club and participated in many long rides around the state, experiencing the exuberant feeling of being in the open-air enjoying life with his friends. Ryan was always there for his dad, helping with any task around the house, from fixing things to building memories. He kept in close contact with his Mama, always letting her know his whereabouts, always ensuring that their bond remained strong.
Ryan was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ricky Boyd.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Ryan are his loving and encouraging parents, Casey and Trish Bramlett Boyd of Perry; his sisters, Macy Boyd (Hayden Doss), Hailey Boyd, and Brooklyn Boyd, all of Perry; his nieces, Ava Doss and Ellie Doss; his maternal grandparents, Debra Grim of Perry, and Tracy Bramlett (Donna) of Nashville, GA; his maternal aunt, Joanie Shewman (Leroy) of Unadilla; his paternal uncle, Robby Boyd (Beth) of Douglasville; and several cousins.
