Ruth Heimos Swise, 66, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2013. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery immediately following the service. Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., the hour before the service, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Swise was born in Belleville, Illinois. A world traveler, she moved with her husband all over the world while he was in the military. She enjoyed playing Bingo. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Maggie Dougherty and George Ann Morris; and her beloved dogs, Belle and Brandy.
Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Don Swise of Kathleen; her children, Annette Ezell (Kenneth) of Elko, Shawn Carroll of Redbud, Illinois, Amy Carroll of Junction City, Kansas, and Patrick Carroll (Jamie) of Warner Robins; her siblings, Mary Ann Kern, August "Gus" Heimos, and Nicholas Heimos; six grandchildren; and her precious dog, Amber.
