Ruth L. Roberson's Obituary
Ruth L. Roberson age 74 passed away on Wednesday July 15th 2015 surrounded by her family in Mobile, AL. She was born on April 10, 1941 in Meridian, MS .Ruth was a Registered Nurse in her younger years, and loved working and helping others. Later in life she became very active in Real Estate in Mobile, AL. Ruth owned and operated a very successful Morgan horse farm at Robwind Morgan’s Scott Dairy Loop Ranch most of her life. She had a quite successful life with award winning horses that she showed for many years. Her love of animals never ended after she downsized farms. Ruth still loved and cared for her family and friends always her top priority, but her animals were her family as well. She was one of a kind.Ruth married Robby Roberson of Big Ten Tires in Mobile, AL. They were happily married for over 50 years. Ruth is survived her daughter Kimberly Anne Sherrell with her husband Fredric Sherrell and the two grandchildren Logan Grant Sherrell, and Lauren Katherine Lomax, as well as Nita and Eddie Springle her niece and husband, and their children Elizabeth and Josh. Funeral service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Monday, July 20, 2015 at 12 noon with visitation starting at 10 am until service time. Interment will be in Spanish Fort V.A. Cemetery.In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Animal Rescue Foundation.
