Ruby Padgett's Obituary
Haynesville
Ruby Woodard Padgett, 82, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at her residence.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Haynesville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00- 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary.
Mrs. Padgett was a lifelong resident of Haynesville and was the daughter of the late J. H. and Dorothy Thornton Woodard.
She was a school bus driver for over 30 years. Always known for her cooking and baking cakes, she enjoyed sewing. Mrs. Padgett was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Haynesville and the Adult Sunday School Class.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Keith Padgett (Cindy) of Haynesville and Kathy Chambers of Bonaire; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years; E. C. Padgett; a son, Charles P. Padgett; siblings, Marty Woodard and W. L. Woodard.
