Always smiled and gave me a big ole hug when I saw her.
So many memories from my childhood with this woman, and as I sit here thinking about them they are flooding my mind and washing over my soul with the love she always gave. But, if I had to pick... then I suppose one of my all time favorites has to be of her tearing my jellied toast into little pieces so that I wouldn't choke on them. Did I mention that the last time she did this for me I was in my early 30's with four children of my own {{♡}} RIP Granny and please tell Mama (Shirley Horne) that I miss her.
