Ruby "Bootsie" Bennett Gaspard's Obituary
Ruby “Bootsie” Bennett Gaspard, age 81, a resident of Irvington, AL passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015. She was born on December 4, 1933 in Slidell, LA. She was preceded in death by her father, William O. Bennett, mother, Thelma Crawford Bennett and brother, Wesley P. Bennett. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, John Gaspard, daughters, Deanna Gaspard (Terry Dean) Collier and Dorinda S. Gaspard Williams, son, Claude M. “Johnny” (Sharon) Gaspard, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Monday, May 11, 2015 from 5 pm until 8 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at Serenity on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 12 noon. Interment will be in Oddfellow Cemetery.
