Roy Watkins Sr.'s Obituary
Roy Watkins Sr., age 81, passed away March 24, 2017 in Mobile, AL. He is survived by his children Roy Watkins Jr., Willie Watkins, and Wanda (Danny) Cink, grandchildren Ray, Kristina, Toni, Michael, Rocky, Richard and Casey, 18 great grandchildren and brother, Jerry Watkins, nieces nephews, other relatives and many friends. Roy was the most loving, kind hearted man you could ever meet. Roy was a great Father, brother, uncle and grandfather. He didn't meet a stranger. He loved his family more than anything in this world. He enjoyed tinkering with things and building things. Heaven has gained a great angel. He has gone home to be with his loving wife of 50 plus years. We welcome all family members and friends to join us to celebrate the Life of Roy Watkins Sr. Pall Bearers include Ray McDuffie, Danny Cink, Sohn Wentworth, David Bearden, Robbie Goleman and Scotty Ladner.Visitation will be at Serenity Funeral Home on Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 5pm - 7pm. A graveside service will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 10am.
