Mr. Roy Eldon Eubanks' Obituary
Mr. Roy Eldon Eubanks, a longtime resident of Mobile and Army veteran, went home to be with the Lord March 12, 2015 after a long illness. He loved his family, cattle farming, and agriculture, and spent some time employed at JT Farms He was a member of Solid Rock Church of God and participated in the church music program playing the harmonica. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmore Eubanks, and his wife, Doris Taylor Eubanks. He is survived by his mother, Maxine Jenkins, siblings Gerald Eubanks, Joyce Eskins, John Michael Eubanks, Cindy Cooley, Connie Reichert, Ronnie Eubanks, and Paula Rigsby, children Christy Boyington, Mick Schwartz, Shane Schwartz, Jessica Wood, Amanda Crain, and Brandi Eubanks, 12 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Serenity Funeral Home from 12 noon to 2 pm. A memorial will be held at the residence of Connie Reichert directly following the visitation.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that attendees consider donating toward Mr. Eubanks' funeral expenses.
