Roy Curtis Emmons Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Roy Curtis Emmons, Sr., an Army Veteran and avid Alabama fan, passed away on March 28, 2015. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maedell Emmons, father, Willis Calvin Emmons, two brothers, Calvin Eugene Emmons and John Wayne Emmons. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Margaret Jordan Emmons, daughter and son-in-law Tonya and Carl Porter, son and daughter-in-law Roy and Lynn Emmons, Jr., 3 grandchildren, Jana and Aaron Elmore, Brandi Emmons, and Nicholas and Hazel Edmonds, 3 great-grandchildren, Jaylyn Emmons, Lilly Edmonds, and Mia Edmonds, a sister-in-law Joann Emmons, and other family and many friends. Visitation Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Serenity Funeral Home from 5pm to 8pm with a Rosary Service at 6pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 11 am from Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Valhalla Cemetery.
