My husband and I were privileged to be selected by Mr. Roy to conduct his living estate sale. During the weeks we spent with him preparing for the sale we were blessed beyond measure just being in his presence. Mr. Roy was upbeat, energetic and fun, his humor infectious. We are deeply saddened by his loss, we weren't prepared to meet such a friend; nor lose him so quickly. We truly fell in love with Roy Sutton; the kindness, generosity and dedication he exhibited are rare and our whole family is better for knowing him. Prayers to the family.
Mr.Sutton worked with us many years ago on a house maintenance contract at Robins AFB. He was such a kind person and we were honored to know him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
Rest in peace my friend the memory of you will never be forgotten.
Sending prayers to the family for comfort during this difficult time. People come into our lives, even if it is for a short period of time. They show you and your family the meaning of unconditional kindness and compassion and leave an impression that will always stay with you. Mr. Sutton was one of those individuals. He will truly be missed by all that knew him, may he rest in peace.
Dear Sutton Family; I met Mr. Roy again, last Oct. He called us about performing an estate sale. Because of our schedules, the estate sale was performed by two of our sweetest associates who Mr. Roy came to love. I worked with Mr. Roy at R.A.F.B, many years ago. As I reviewed the items he wanted to sell, we talked about memories, and his GREAT love for his wife and daughter who he missed immensely. He missed his grand daughter and wished he could see her more. He LOVED the LORD and would dance a funny jig in the garage to the old Christian music. We would laugh and I could see how much he enjoyed company and people. Mr. Roy was the type of person you wanted to friend and before the sale I visited him again. I told him I would be back to visit and am saddened that I didn't have that opportunity. He was strong in his convictions. He looked healthy and was energetic, but in some ways, I think he wanted to be with his loved ones in heaven and carried a great burden on his heart of not having his loved ones with him on earth. Mr. Roy, I believe in Christ and eternal life as you did. Rest in peace kind man. I know your smile is from ear to ear when you saw your wife and daughter. Thank you for your friendship and I will not forget you. Until we meet again,
We are sad to learn of Mr.Sutton's passing away. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He was a good neighbor and friend and we will miss seeing him working in his yard. He was a fellow Vietnam Veteran who took pride in his service. May he rest in peace.
