Rose Pauline Conway's Obituary
Rose P. Conway, age 81, a resident of Gulfport, MS died on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 in Moss Point, MS. She was born in Bayou La Batre, AL on September 9, 1933 to Elisha W. Nelson Sr. and Earline (Sprinkle) Nelson. She was one of 12 children. As a young adult she married Charley Conway Jr. and moved to Gulfport, MS where they raised their 2 children, Brenda Conway Rodreguez and Charley Conway III. She was preceded in death by her parents Elisha and Earline (Sprinkle) Nelson, husband, Charley Conway Jr., brothers, Elisha W. Nelson Jr., Mickey Nelson and Terry Nelson. She is survived by her children, Brenda Rodreguez and Charley Conway III, 6 grandchildren, Erin Conway, Megan Conway, Liam Conway, Cassidy Conway, Angela (Rodreguez) Porter, Jeremy Rodreguez, 4 great grandchildren, 5 sisters, Myrtle (Leo) Cooper, Betty (Shirley) Gunnels, Frances (Curtis) Zirlott, Yvonne (Sean) Cheevers and Avon (Dennis) Lannie, 3 brothers, Jimmy (Cecelia) Nelson, Kent (Brenda) Nelson and Tommy Nelson, 2 sisters-n-law, Faye Nelson and Suzanne Nelson, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Memorial service was held at Serenity Funeral Home on Saturday, December 13, 2014.
