Ronald L. 'Ron' Fauconniere's Obituary
Ronald L. "Ron" Fauconniere, 78, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at Heart of Georgia Hospice. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2015, at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Heart of Georgia Hospice Inpatient Care, 1120 Morningside Drive, Perry, Georgia 31069.
Mr. Fauconniere was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Felix and Minnie Justice Fauconniere. He moved with his family to Perry in January 1968 to farm Diamond D Ranch. In 1976, he formed Fauconniere Industries, Inc., that serviced Pabst Brewing Company, Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corp., and numerous other companies. He retired in 2007. Ron's favorite past times were playing golf and traveling. He was an avid reader and a World War II history buff. He was a long-time member of Perry United Methodist Church. Ron was preceded in death by his brother, Frank "Skip" Fauconniere.
Left to cherish the memories of Ron are his loving wife of 58 years, Liz Fauconniere of Perry; his children, Jeanne Moyer (Dennis) of Haynesville, Connie Bell (Ted) of Jacksonville, Florida, Donna Livingston Hoh (Jack) of St. Simons Island, and Ronald Fauconniere, Jr. (Debbie Dunn) of Midland, North Carolina; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; his sister, Darlene Jones of Jonesboro, Tennessee; his sister-in-law, Marty Fauconniere of Marion, Iowa; one niece; and one nephew.
