Ronald "Ronnie" Edwin Austin,II, 47, passed away, after a brief illness, on Monday, January 30, 2017 at USA Medical Center, Mobile, Alabama.Born in Florence, Alabama, he relocated to the Mobile area in 1982. He attended Theodore High School. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve.Ronnie loved all things Alabama football related. He was a talented craftsman and grill master. He thoroughly enjoyed music, especially Elvis, and was known to give an entertaining karaoke performance. He was a car enthusiast and above all, he loved his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.He is survived by his wife, Kellie Austin, mother & step-father, Deborah and James Hovater, father & step-mother, Ronald and Faye Austin, maternal grandmother, Kathleen Gasque Aycock, aunt, Lacey Gasque Sexton, aunt, Elizabeth Austin Roberson. He is also survived by his daughter, Autumn Austin, sons, Chase Hall, Alec Austin, Alex Rooney, Koby Austin, Gabriel Austin, siblings, sisters, Cindy Austin Babin (Randy), Tina Austin, brothers, Heath Austin (Ali), Corey Austin, Jacob Austin. Ronnie was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lacy Frank Gasque, grandmother, Marie Vandiver Woodley, aunt, Kathy Gasque Slusher.Service was a private memorial held for family and friends.Memorial gifts may be given in Ronnie's honor: American Heart Association, 1101 Northchase Parkway, Suite 1 Marietta, GA 30067-6411
