ROBERTA "BOBBIE" LESSIRE STEWART's Obituary
PERRY, GA –
Roberta “Bobbie” Lessire Stewart, 83, formerly of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 15, 2020, with her loving husband by her side. There will be a Private Inurnment Service for the family later this summer in St. Rose Catholic Church Cemetery in Perrysburg, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Toledo-Lucas County Library, Sylvania Branch, 6749 Monroe Street, Sylvania, Ohio 43560, or Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Perry, Georgia 31069.
Bobbie was born in Rossford, Ohio, to the late Joseph and Juanita Marolf Lessire. She graduated from Rossford High School and soon after, married the love of her life, Ronald Stewart, from the neighboring town of Perrysburg. She spent many years as a full-time homemaker, creating a loving and welcoming environment in which to raise their four children. Bobbie later accepted a position as a Library Clerk with the Lucas County Library System in Sylvania, Ohio. She loved her job, interacting with friends – old and new – that she helped throughout the 20 years she spent there. She took delight in planning their Rossford High School class reunion, and was still in touch with her friends there. Bobbie’s greatest passion in life was her family with whom she enjoyed sharing a lifetime of happiness. After spending decades raising family in Perrysburg, Ohio, she and her husband lived in Perry, Georgia, for the past six years. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jackie Lessire Curtis, and step-mother, Ruth Lessire.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Bobbie are her faithful and devoted husband of sixty-five years, Ron Stewart of Perry, GA; her children, Susan Heslup (John) of Atlanta, GA, M. Ann Henderson (Roland) of Atlanta, GA, Deborah Bihn (Gerald) of Perrysburg, OH/Miami, FL, and Jimmy Stewart of Atlanta, GA; her grandchildren, Alison Heslup, Ian Heslup, Jessika Alexander, Josiah Henderson, Michala Henderson, A.J. Bihn, Hunter Bihn, and Kalani Bihn; and several nieces and nephews.
Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry, Georgia, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
