ROBERT WILLIAMS's Obituary
PERRY –
Robert Edward Williams passed away peacefully on November 3, 2023. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 10, at 2:00 p.m. at Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church with interment in the Campground Cemetery immediately following. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Friday, November 10, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m.
Robert was born on January 18, 1932, in Columbia, South Carolina, to Clarence Eugene Williams, Sr. and Velma Marie Bates Williams. He was a devoted member of Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church for 70 years. He was a general contractor for over 40 years in West Columbia, SC, and in Atlanta, GA. Robert was a generous and kind man whose goal was to love and serve Jesus and to be an encouragement to everyone he met.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruby Louise Camp Williams; his three brothers, Clarence Eugene Williams, Jr., Paul Amos Williams, and Albert Lee Williams; and his two sisters, Lillie Pearl Williams Tate and Bernice Marie Williams Simons.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Robert are his son and daughter-in-law, William Joseph and Sheli W. Williams, of Orlando, FL; his daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Mark Gray, of Grayson, GA; and two grandchildren, Ryan Gray and Kayla Gray.
