BOLINGBROKE, GA - Robert Morgan Todd, Sr., 80, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 after a brief illness. Graveside Services will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Perry on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.Mr. Todd was born in Houston County, Georgia to the late J.P Morgan Todd and Marie Sumlin. He proudly served his country in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. Robert was a welder by trade, retiring after thirty-four years, from Riverwood International in Macon. His family and friends said that he was pure-hearted and always willing to share advice. He made sure to tell them, "Y'all be good and always behave!". Besides his family, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, reading a good book, and watching a NASCAR race on television. He was preceeded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Franklin C. Todd, and Ray Todd; and a son, Robert Todd Jr.Left to cherish the memories of Robert are his loving wife of 47 years, Joan; his children; Deborah Henderson of Forsyth, Robin Walker (Gerry) of Bonaire, Vickie Burnham (Bill) of Live Oak, Florida and Kathy Wilson (Billy) of Duson, Louisiana; his sisters, Betty Sinclair of Macon, Linda Bell of Savannah; and a brother William Todd of St. Louis, Missouri; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com.
