Robert Coleman Thompson Sr., age 91, a lifelong resident of Theodore AL passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Theresa Thompson, son, Robert C. (Rosetta) Thompson, grandchildren, Melonie (Joe) Thompson, Robert (Lucille) Thompson III, Christopher Thompson, Nicholas (Sherie) Smiley, step children, Michael (Edna) Young, Robert Young, Brenda (Thomas) Baker, siblings, Shirly Evans, Margaret Cephas, Gloria Rogers, great grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral service will be held at Newship AME Zion Church on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 11 am with visitation starting at 9 am until service time. Interment will be in Laurendine Cemetery.
