Robert Theodore 'Ted' Bailey's Obituary
ELLAVILLE -
Robert Theodore "Ted" Bailey, 56, died suddenly on Sunday, December 8, 2013 from injuries received in an automobile accident. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. Interment will be in Perry Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., the hour preceding the service, at the funeral home. Reverend Jeremy Morton will officiate. The family suggests contributions to the American Diabetes Association, 225 Peachtree Street Northeast, Suite 550, Atlanta, GA 30303.
Ted was born in Houston County and was a self employed truck driver. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Mason. For 20 years Ted worked in the utility department for the City of Warner Robins. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil W. Bailey; and his siblings, Patricia Brown, Daniel Wade Bailey, and Miriam Bailey.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Deborah W. Bailey of Ellaville; children, Jason Smith of Stone Mountain, Cleater Bailey of Centerville, and Shelby Lee Bailey of Macon; his mother, Jackie Bailey of Ft. Valley; and one grandchild, Alexis Leigh Bailey.
