ROBERT DWIGHT "BOB" PERRY JR.'s Obituary
PERRY –
Robert Dwight “Bob” Perry, Jr., 77, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 12, 2022, after a brief illness. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church. Interment will be in the Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church Campground Cemetery immediately following the service.
Bob was born in Yukon, Florida, to the late Robert Dwight Perry, Sr., and the late Connie Smiley Perry. He was married to Joyce Cross Perry for fifty-six years. He was a long-time member of Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church. Early in his working career, Bob was a corporate salesman, and after many years, shifted to a career in homebuilding. In 2008, Bob and Joyce retired and moved to the Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church Campground in Perry where he enjoyed living in the retirement community.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Bob are his wife, Joyce Cross Perry of Perry; his children, Robert D. “Bobby” Perry, III (Hope) of Athens, Jennifer Smith (Milton) of Perry, and Jill Travers (James) of Perry; eleven grandchildren; his sisters, Lynda Wright (Mark) of St. Augustine, Florida, and Kathy Gephart (Bob) of Maryland; and many nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
