PerryRobert M. Morgan, 69, passed away at his residence on Saturday, May 6, 2017. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home with interment following at the Elko Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 -8 Monday night at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to the American Legion, P.O. Box 1062, Perry or Compassionate Care Hospice, 305 Smithville Church Rd, Warner Robins.Robert was born in Cadwell and had lived in Perry for 30 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in Viet Nam. A carpenter by trade, he worked for Stroud and Company for over 20 years.He loved making furniture and anything with wood and he loved fishing.Left to cherish his memory are his children, Tamala Horne of Dalton, William Morgan of Warner Robins, Lisa Morgan Wiley of Jones County; beloved companion, Lila Hakeos; siblings, Russell Morgan and Wesley Morgan; eight grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his children, Bobby Spires and Janie Morgan; siblings, Shirley Brown and Helen Sandefur.
