Robert Mitchell Hambrick's Obituary
PerryRobert Mitchell Hambrick, 91, passed away on May 14, 2016 at his home, with his loving family by his side. Mitchell was born on December 25, 1924. A retired logger, he was a U.S. Army W.W. II veteran. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mellonese Hambrick, and four daughters, Josephine Pierce of Macon, Annolene White (Greg) of Perry, Ruth Tarpley (Wayne) of Perry, and Belinda Lindsey (James) of Warner Robins. He is also survived by three sisters, Anne Carroll, Marjorie Moore, and Frances Bowen, as well as, nine grandchildren, Melody Scott (Richard), Michael Pierce, Jennifer Birdsong (Jeff), Anna Barnett (Cory), Jessica Kilburn (Richard), Wendy Naylor (Josh), Rhett Lindsey (Trisha), Lauren Lindsey, and Jamie Lindsey (Stephanie) and eleven great-grandchildren, Morgan Scott, Jillian Birdsong, Jonah Birdsong, Sally Barnett, Ed Barnett, Caleb Kilburn, Beth Kilburn, Ella Naylor, Paislee Lindsey, Jackson Lindsey, and Aubree Lindsey. He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and two sisters. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until noon on Monday, May 16 at the Perry First Baptist Church. A graveside service will follow immediately following the visitation at Perry Memorial Gardens.
