Robert Corcoran's Obituary
Robert Corcoran, 53, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at his home in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The family will visit with friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2014, at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry, Georgia. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1100 East Ocean Boulevard, Stuart, FL 34996.
Robert was born in Encino, California. Prior to retirement, he worked for Triumph Corporation as a manager for thirty years in Stuart, Florida. He moved to Port St. Lucie in 2002 after spending a number of years in Perry, Georgia. Robert was a member of the Nice Ash Cigar Club and Eagle Marsh Golf Club in Jensen Beach, Florida. He was a loving son, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed by his family and all those who knew and loved him.
Left to cherish the memories of Robert are his father, James Corcoran of Knoxville, TN; his mother, Nancy Walsh (Joe) of Washington, Utah; his daughters, Danielle Lane Corcoran of Bonaire, Georgia, Samantha Jo Stimus (Tommy) of Perry, Georgia; her son, Tyler James Corcoran of Perry, Georgia; his grandchildren, John Knox Stimus, Gracee Glisson, and Melanie LaPlant; his brothers, Michael Corcoran of Richmond, California, and Jeff Corcoran of Palmdale, California; his sister, Kathy Orlando (Paul) of Palmdale, California; and many nieces and nephews.
