RICK HARRISON's Obituary

Richard Lynn “Rick” Harrison passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at the age of 65. A private inurnment will be held at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma at a later date.
Rick was born on April 24, 1960, in Leesburg, Florida, to the late Charles Henry Harrison, Sr. and Marcella Darnell Harrison. After high school, Rick proudly served in the 509th Airborne Battalion in Italy, where he forged bonds and displayed a level of bravery and commitment admired by his fellow servicemen. After his military service, he channeled his disciplined spirit into a successful career as a carpenter, a trade where his skilled hands and keen eye for detail were highly valued. He would share his knowledge and skills with others to always encourage and lift up his fellow man. Rick embraced life with a zest that was evident to all who knew him. He lived life on the edge, always with a smile, embodying a spirit that was as daring as it was joyful.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Henry Harrison, Sr., and Marcella Darnell Harrison.
Left to cherish the memories made with Rick are his wife of thirty-four years, Lynn Tiner Harrison; his children, Khrystle Harrison of Big Timber, Montana, Rachel Hall, and Zackery Hall of Monroe, Georgia, along with his cherished 12 grandchildren; He is also survived by his siblings, Chuck Harrison (Pat) of Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma, and Renee Harrison Foster of Jacksonville, Florida, as well as several nieces and nephews.
