RHONDA BELL WIGGINS's Obituary
WARNER ROBINS, GA –
Rhonda Lynn Bell Wiggins, 60, passed away peacefully early on Monday morning, April 26, 2021, after a lengthy battle with COPD. At her request, Rhonda’s remains will be transported back to Illinois where she will forever be at rest with her late husband. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Heart of Georgia Hospice’s Hazel Colson House, 1120 Morningside Drive, Perry, GA 31069.
Rhonda was born in Rockford, Illinois, on Christmas Eve in 1960 to the late Elmer Bell and Glennie Chrisco Bell. She grew up in Illinois and graduated from Reed-Custer High School in Braidwood, Illinois. From the time she helped her brother, David, publish the school newspaper, Rhonda kept her mind busy with crossword puzzles and word games, submitting a new one to appear each week. She loved comedy, and she loved to laugh. She met and married the love of her life, Timothy Carl Wiggins. She was a homemaker, continuously working to make their home a warm and loving environment in which to raise their two boys. After she unexpectedly lost Carl in a tragic automobile accident, Rhonda’s life continued to center around her family. As her grandchildren came along, she delighted in spending time with them almost daily. She moved to Georgia in 2015 to be near her older son, James, and his family. Rhonda’s faithful, four-legged companion, her chiweenie, Flynn, was a great comfort to her. Everyone who knew and loved Rhonda will dearly miss her.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Rhonda are her loving and devoted children, James Wiggins of Warner Robins and Jacob Wiggins of Essex, Illinois; her grandchildren, Lillian and Raylan Wiggins, and Karsyn Wiggins and Brayden Whelchel; her brothers, Michael Bell and David Bell (Edwina), both of Madera, California; and several nieces and nephews.
Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Teresa Bell Grimmet.
Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry, GA, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
