Rhonda Dix's Obituary
UNADILLA-
Rhonda Gresham Dix, 60, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015, after a brief battle with cancer. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 8, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry. Interment will be in Perry Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. The family with gather with friends on Thursday, May 7, 2015, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to offset the incurred expenses. Checks may be mailed to Watson-Hunt Funeral Home, P. O. Box 52, Perry, Georgia 31069.
Rhonda was born in Griffin and graduated from Spalding County High School. Later in life, she went back to school to become a Patient Care Technician. She was so proud of the fact that she completed the coursework at American Professional Institute (API) in Macon in 6 months, rather than the 2 years it normally takes. She was a PCT at Autumn Terrace in Perry. Rhonda was preceded in death by 2 sisters and a brother.
Left to cherish the memories of Rhonda are her loving husband of 15 years, Gary Dix of Unadilla; her children, Kevin Youngblood and Beth King (Zane), both of Perry, and Amy Ross (Tim) of Haynesville; her grandchildren, Robby Youngblood, Cearrah Youngblood, Bristen Mourning, Brian "BJ" Mourning, Jr., Brayden Mourning, and 3 other grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
