attending First United Methodist Church. Doug later graduated in 1965 from
Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. He
worked locally as an industrial engineer at MRC-TRW in Jamestown and later as
controller of Pennco Industries in Warren, PA. Doug earned a Master of
Management degree from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL, in 1980. His
employment background included numerous management positions in
accounting and finance. He held multiple professional licenses and accreditations
until his retirement in 2005. He was predeceased by Patty, his bride of 50 years, in 2015. Doug and the former Patricia Lee Anderson of Jamestown were married on January 30, 1965.
