Phillip Howard Bankston's Obituary
Age 53, a resident of Wilmer, AL passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017. Phillip was a Vigor High School graduate. He loved music and played lead guitar. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Jesse Bankston and step sister, Patricia. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Karen “Jan” Bankston, mother and step father, Vickie and Lee Parnell, step siblings, Timothy, Cheryl and Mark, special aunt, Jane Thomas, mother-in-law, Dot Hudson, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Thursday, April 13 2017 from 5-7pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at Serenity on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 2pm. Interment will be in Indian Springs Cemetery.
