PHIL DIXON's Obituary
PERRY-
Phillip Edward “Phil” Dixon, 59, passed away on June 29, 2026, after an extended illness. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 3, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Family Hospice of Macon, 4562 Forsyth Rd STE 4, Macon, GA 31210.
Phil was born on January 10, 1967, in Perry, Georgia. A lifelong resident of Perry, he was a proud graduate of Perry High School, Class of 1985.
Phil dedicated many years of service as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Specialist, working with Northrop, Boeing, and Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. An avid outdoorsman, Phil greatly enjoyed fishing, whether along the waters of Steinhatchee, Florida, or at local ponds around Perry. He also had a passion for racing - dirt track races and go-cart races. He often tinkered on cars and go-carts in his spare time, working to make them more efficient at being fast and winning.
Phil will be remembered for his free spirit, dedication to his family and friends, his love of life, and living life to the fullest. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Phil was predeceased by his father, Eddie Dixon.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Phil are his mother, Mary Ann Dixon of Warner Robins; his brother, Shawn Dixon (Amanda) of Perry; his nieces, Rylee Dixon, Jessie Dixon, and Emerson Dixon; and his stepmother, Eva Dixon of Perry.
Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at https://www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry has been entrusted with the arrangements.
