Mr. Perry Lansing Pinkard's Obituary
Perry Pinkard, age 65, a native of Rule, Texas and a longtime resident of Mobile County passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at his home with his family at his side. Mr. Pinkard was a veteran of the United State Marie Corp serving in Vietnam. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Good Conduct Service Medal, and other citations and ribbons. He was a graduate of Dallas Institute of Funeral Service and was a practing Funeral Director and Embalmer for over 20 years and was currently employed at Serenity Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Mrs. Frankie Pinkard, sister, Paula Winters, brother in law, Buddy Reger, 10 grandchildren, Blake Vise, Jamie Vise, Lee Ann Hatcher, Aaron Vise, Jimmy Hatcher, Savannah Hatcher, Courtney Hatcher, Jay Hatcher, April Hatcher, D.J. Hatcher, 6 great grandchildren, Ashley Bosarge, Kristee Vise, Brazton Vise, Raven Hatcher, Kaylee Hatcher, Austin Burrel, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral Services will be held from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 12 noon. Visitation will be Sunday, June 29, from 12 noon to 5 pm and also on Monday, June 30, from 10 am until the 12 noon service time. Interement will follow the chapel service on Monday at 1:30 pm in Alabama State Veteran Memorial Cemetery of Spanish Fort. Arrangements under the direction of Serenity Funeral Home, Theodore, AL.
