PATRICIA "PATSY" LYNN HORNE's Obituary
PERRY-
Patricia Lynn Horne, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021. A private Visitation will be held at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home with a private Graveside Service to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cochran, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, Patsy respectfully requested memorial contributions to Friends of Perry Animal Shelter, 204 Kellwood Dr., Perry, GA 31069 or to Perry Presbyterian Church, 1111 S. 2nd Street, Perry, GA 31069.
Patsy was born in Hawkinsville, Georgia, to the late Oliver C. Horne and Lynette Eason Horne. She was a graduate of Perry High School, Class of 1966. She was a resident of Henderson, Georgia. She was a member of the Perry Presbyterian Church, the Mary Ann Hunt Sunday School Class and the Eunice Ramage Circle. Patsy spent thirty years as a DEFACS case worker focusing on eligibility programs. She was an active member of the Pilot Club of Perry for many years.
She loved her four-legged faithful Chihuahua fur babies, especially Hope, Buster, and Jazz, who stood by her in sickness and in health.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, and her aunt, Elizabeth Barber.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Patsy are her friends and caregivers, Janet McKenna (Levi), Betty McGhee, Starla Thomas, and Edna Ned; and several cousins.
