Patricia Meyer's Obituary
Patricia Anne Moulton Meyer of Perry, GA passed away on September 5, 2015. Patricia was born March 8, 1932 in Lindale, GA, the daughter of the late Edward Russell Moulton and Clara Ellen Yarborough Moulton.
Patricia graduated from Rome High School and attended Auburn University where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She married Clarence William Meyer, Jr of Mobile, AL and they raised 4 children together in Mobile and later in Perry, GA where they moved in 1967. She was an active volunteer at Perry High School and The Westfield School, as well as a member of the Beltista Club for many years where she served as President and in a variety of roles. Above all, she loved and cared for her beloved family.
Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence William Meyer Jr, and her brother, John Lewis Moulton, Albany GA.
She is survived by her sister, Clara Ellen M. Rogers, Rome GA, her 4 children, David Cletus Meyer, Fitzgerald GA, Katherine Otilia Meyer Cleary (James Joseph) Plano TX, Reid Moulton Meyer (Michele Culpepper) Newnan GA, Ellen Amelia Meyer Bunker (Raymond Ramsdell) Macon GA; her 8 grandchildren, Heather Meyer Ward (Joe) Playa Vista CA, Stephany Meyer Darden (Samm) Roswell GA, Ellen Cleary Conner (Bobby) Dallas TX, Patricia Anna Cleary Boon (Eric) Plano TX, William Reid Meyer & Audrey Halliday Meyer, Newnan GA, William Madison Bunker & Elizabeth Amelia Bunker, Macon GA; her 5 great grandchildren, Presley & Ethan Ward, Kate and John Conner and Eleanor Boon, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at Christ Episcopal Church, Macon GA on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 1pm. The family will receive visitors at Watson Hunt Funeral Home, Perry GA on Thursday from 5pm to 7pm. She will be buried at Pine Crest Cemetary in Mobile, AL. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to make a donation may choose JDRF Diabetes Foundation or the charity of their choice.
