PATI SIX's Obituary
KATHLEEN –
Patricia “Pati” Joyce Six went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 29, 2023, after an extended illness. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 2, 2023, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Bankson officiating. Interment will be in Perry Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.
Pati was born at Ft. Jackson, SC, on August 26, 1948, to the late James E. and Roberta Grider Wethington. She graduated from Waynesville High School, in Waynesville, MO, in 1966. After graduation, she attended and graduated from The National Beauty School in Rolla, Missouri, and graduated in 1967. Pati married the love of her life, Larry Six, and was a homemaker. She worked hard to develop and maintain a caring and encouraging environment in which they would raise their daughter. They lived on a farm where they bred Brangus cattle. While her husband traveled the country with his job, Pati would feed and nurture the calves until they were sold at market value. A strong and devoted mother, she always supported her daughter’s extracurricular activities and delighted in watching Shelley play basketball, play softball, and cheer. Pati enjoyed life to the fullest. She was an avid reader and liked to play Bunco. She was a member of the Houston Lake Garden Club and enjoyed attending church.
Pati was preceded in death by her parents and a niece, Jennifer Aldrich.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Pati are her loving and devoted husband of fifty-five years, Larry Six of Kathleen; her daughter, Shelley Six-Mays (Josh Mays); her grandchildren, Kiley Law (Jared), Logan Lister (Raelyn), McKenzie Lister, and Derrick Aldrich; three great-grandchildren, Kallie Law, Jaxlyn Law, and Harlow Lister; and her sister, Donna Aldrich (Bob) of Wichita, Kansas.
Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
