Other Philip Patronas Sr.'s Obituary
Philip Patronas, age 58, native and resident of Dauphin Island, AL, passed away on Saturday September 19, 2015. He retired as a commercial captain on various boats, spending his life on the water. He considered himself a pirate and loved to spend his time as Head Pirate at Pirate’s Pleasure on the island. He served on Dauphin Island City Council, helped with many charities and benefits, was very proud of his Greek heritage and was a very accomplished chef, winning many awards for his cooking that he attributed to his Greek background. He is survived by his children Stormy Patronas (Bruce) Williams, Philip Patronas, Jr., and McKenna Patronas, sister Imelda Patronas McLemore, 2 grandchildren, Jasper Williams and Livvy Williams, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015 from 12noon to 2pm at Dauphin Island Methodist Church. Funeral services will take place Friday, September 25, 2015 at 2pm at the church. Burial at Dauphin Island Methodist Church Cemetery.
