Ocie Dean Fazekas' Obituary
Ocie Dean Fazekas, Foley resident and Mississippi native, passed away on November 11, 2015 at the age of 86. Ocie was passionate about fishing, crabbing, cooking, and helping others. She was the Sgt. of Arms of the Ladies Auxiliary for the American Legion Post 44 where she enjoyed spending time with many of her friends. She is survived by her husband, Anthony Fazenkas, children, Linda L. Nelson (Lawrence), Michael W. Todd, Sheila A. Spiegel, granddaughters, Ashley A. Spiegel Friend (Lee), Amanda L. Spiegel, grandsons Walter K. Simon III, Todd W. Simon Sr., great-grandchildren, Elizabeth V. Simon, Shelby M. Simon, and Todd W. Simon as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Services will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Sunday, November 15, 2015 with visitation from 12pm-2pm and a funeral services in our chapel at 2pm. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens. For those traveling from Foley, take I-10 West to Exit 10 and merge to the right. Take a right off the exit and make a left at the intersection of McDonald and Old Pascagoula Rd onto Old Pascagoula Rd. The Funeral Home will be on the left.
