Naomi Kersey Roughton Bowles' Obituary
BONAIRE-
John 14:3 "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." Jesus slipped in and took Naomi on June 4th, 2013.
Naomi Kersey Roughton Bowles, age 83 was born on March 4, 1930. She was a long-time resident of Bonaire, GA. She was a graduate of Perry High School and was a Lab Tech at Perry Hospital for many years. She was a member of Pilgrim's Rest Primitive Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Naomi's greatest joy was giving and serving family members and friends.
She was the daughter of the Late Mary Clyde and Charles L. Kersey, Sr. She was the widow of Ret. Col Wm. Beverly Bowles and William C. Roughton. Naomi was also preceded in death by her son, Wayne Roughton; her grandson, Travis Roughton; her brothers, Royce Kersey, Charles L. Kersey, Jr., and Jullian Kersey; and her niece, Charlene Kersey Edwards.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Keith Roughton (Brenda) and Kim Roughton; her daughter-in-law, Robin Roughton; her grandchildren, Chad Roughton, Lori Roughton, Kasi Crosby; her step-children, Heidi Borland (Dan) and Steve Bowles; her sisters-in-law, Ethelene Kersey and Jessie Kersey; her brothers-in-law, Simpson Bowles (Martha) and Dick Roughton; and her nieces and nephews, Dale Kersey, Don Kersey, Tara Kersey-Barrett, Juliana Reimer, Leeann Radel, and Mary Lynn Shcroeder.
Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Perry, GA.
