“Nana” Peggy Hatcher Haggard, age 66 a longtime resident of Satsuma, AL passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Peggy worked at Kerr McGee 10+ years and Conoco Saraland 5+ years. Many people in the area knew Peggy as “The Gas Lady”. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dolphers “Ed” Haggard, parents, Horace and Ida Hatcher, grandson, Paul “P.J.” Lanier Jr. She is survived by her children, Joan and Billy Boothe, Theresa and Steve Fruge, Janet and Donnie Burt, Kathy Hebert, Suzette and Carl Waller, Don and Kris Haggard, Dianna and Randy DeFee, grandchildren, Billy and Erica Boothe, Jessica Boothe, Heather Lanier and James Smith, Donnie “Bubba” and Lakin Burt Jr., Melany and Donald Prine, Charles Evans, Jennifer and Jason Deaton, Jake and Traci Cantrell, Hunter DeFee, Grace DeFee, Ryan Haggard, Jordan Haggard, Kelly Fruge, Brooke Fruge, Chelsey Fruge, great grandchildren, Dustin Boothe, Troy Lanier, Ashlyn Boothe, Nate Lanier, “Tiny” Billy Boothe, Jamiyah Lanier, Mallory Prine, Cara-Jo Murray, Kaitlyn Deaton, Madelyn Deaton, Nathan Evans, Braylon Fruge, Halie Fruge, Teylor Fruge, Izayah Fruge, Kambrie Fruge, sister, Carol (Benny) Cox, brothers, John (BJ) Hatcher, Donald (Pat) Hatcher, devoted friends, Jewel Perry, Lunneter Chambliss, Darlene Dyess, numerous faithful nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 2 pm with visitation starting 12 noon until service time. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
