NAN TOLLESON MOORE's Obituary
ATLANTA- Nan was born in Perry, Georgia, on June 28, 1954, to the late Marianne Nunn and Joseph Meade Tolleson, Jr. She graduated from The Westfield School in Perry in 1972 and began her college career at Brenau University where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She later transferred to the University of Georgia where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design. Upon graduating in 1976, Nan established her business, Nan T. Moore Interiors and became an allied member of ASID. She was a long time participant in the annual Macon Heritage Foundation Show House, and her business extended throughout the Southeast earning recognition for her commercial and residential design. In addition to her work, Nan was passionate about music and playing the piano. She was an avid painter and enjoyed reading and collecting good books. Nan was also a long time member of Perry Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Bess Tolleson Mulherin, of Tifton, Georgia. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter and son-in-law, Meade and Clint Fields of Atlanta; her grandchildren, Blaire Tolleson Fields and Elliott Philip Fields; her sister, Terry Tolleson Wood (Rusty) of Perry; her nieces, Whitney Wood Bailey (Stephen), Annie Mulherin Sumner (Dereck), Maggie Mulherin Keel (Keegan), and Caroline Mulherin Bostick (Ware); and three special grand-nieces.
