Minnie Lee Britt, age 92, a native of McKinsey, AL and a longtime resident of Mobile, AL passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014. She is survived by her children, Carolyn Blackmon Simmons, Jerry Blackmon, Randy (Angela) Blackmon, James Britt Jr., Sandra Hewett, 12 grandchildren, 13 +1 great-grandchildren, sisters, Marie Joiner, Clydie Mae Edge, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 2 pm with visitation starting at 12 noon until service time. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
