February 18, 1942 – September 14, 2019
Milton Carl Kessler, 77, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will be held at Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church Campground, on Friday, September 20, 2019. Funeral Services will take place at the church on Saturday, September 21, 2019, at 2:00 p.m., with interment to follow at the Campground Cemetery.
Milton was born in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Otto Carl and Nettie Scipper Kessler. After graduating from high school, he proudly served our country in the U.S. Army. Milton made his career as a truck driver working for various companies. In his free time, he loved sailing, riding his motorcycle, and Milton’s favorite hobby was collecting antique cars. He was a member of Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church. Milton was preceded in death by his baby brother, Ralph Kessler, and brother-in-law, Jim Tate.
Left to cherish the memories they shared with Milton are his sister, Juanita Kessler Tate; step-brother, Fred Benson (Vicki); his niece, Kristy Kronberg; his nephew, Mike Adkins (Melissa); great-nieces and nephews, Ethan, Austin, Kaleb, Sophia, Noah; numerous cousins, and many cherished friends.
