Milton Kendrick 'Ken' Mustin's Obituary
AUGUSTA-
Mr. Milton Kendrick "Ken" Mustin, beloved husband of Mrs. Loretta Hill Mustin, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 4, 2013. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 6, 2013 at Christ's Sanctified Holy Church, 136 N. Belair Rd., EVANS, GA. 30809 from 7:00 until 9:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at Christ's Sanctified Holy Church, 2500 US Hwy 41, near PERRY, GA on Sunday, December 8, 2013, at 2:00 PM. Committal services will follow in the church cemetery near Perry.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Cindy Mustin Boggus of Evans and Julia Mustin Lanier (Frank Lanier, Jr.) of Appling; a brother, William Thomas Mustin (Martha); two sisters, Margaret Eloise Collier (Robert R. Collier) and Johnnie Frances Woods (Billy Woods); three grandchildren, Brittany Lee Boggus, Tripp Boggus, III, and Karlie Hill Boggus.
A native of Norfolk, Virginia, Mr. Mustin was the Owner of Mustin Concrete and Affordable Contractors Specialty. He was a member of Christ's Sanctified Holy Church, Evans, Georgia, where he enjoyed working around the church on different projects. Mr. Mustin was a strong family man, where his family was his life and his greatest joy was being with his grandchildren. Ken was an avid fisherman, hunter, and scuba diver. He worked with his grandson, Tripp, at the Hunt for Life organization, where he served on the Board, cooked, and filled in where he was needed. Mr. Mustin supported the Augusta Fire Department. Pallbearers will be Frank Lanier, Jr., Tripp Boggus, III, Jordan Collier, Bobby Reese, Nian Balk, and Gene Mustin. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Anderson, Walter Anderson, Bob Collier, Thomas Mustin, Billy Woods, and Raymond Samuels.
