Millard Albritton's Obituary

Millard Albritton, 72, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry. A private family interment will be held in Perry Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to FOPAS, 1026 Macon Road, Perry, Georgia 31069.
Mr. Albritton was born in Rupert, Georgia, to the late Henry Greely Albritton and Mamie Chale Johnson Albritton. He grew up in Taylor County and had lived in Perry for the past 50 years. A construction worker with Houston County, he worked in the Roads and Bridges Department. Mr. Albritton enjoyed fishing and NASCAR. He was a lovable, quiet, unassuming Grandaddy who will be dearly missed by his family and all those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Albritton, and two sisters, Loree Beasley and Thelma Fowler.
Left to cherish the memories of Mr. Albritton are his loving wife of 54 years, Sandra Harbuck Albritton of Perry; his sons, Tim Albritton (Debbie) of Winder, Dr. Darryl Albritton (Terri) of Perry, and Russell Albritton of Perry; his grandchildren, Tori Albritton, Julia Albritton, Hillary Bell (Jimi), Carson Albritton, Olivia Albritton, Bryce Albritton (Alex), Emmalee Albritton, and Haleigh Albritton; one great-grandson, Renner Albritton; a brother, Henry Albritton; a sister, Annie Laura DeVane (Jim); several nieces and nephews; and his faithful and beloved dog, Peanut.
