MILES TIMOTHY TROXELL's Obituary
PERRY –
Miles Timothy Troxell, 27, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m., and the service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John Lehenbauer officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to NAMI, National Alliance on Mental Illness, P. O. Box 49104 Baltimore, Maryland 21297.
Miles was born in Hawkinsville on August 31, 1994 and grew up in Perry. He graduated from Perry High School in 2013, attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, and further studied at Central Georgia Technical College. From an early age, his parents knew he was a unique child with a huge heart who loved his family and friends. He was always smiling and often showed kindness and love to others he didn’t even know. At age four, Miles started playing tee ball at Ochlahatchee (now Perry Junior League) and developed his baseball skills over the following ten years. With the help of some caring and reassuring coaches, his dream to be a catcher came true during his final year of playing baseball at Ochlahatchee. Throughout all of his years in school, many teachers, counselors, and even some principals, continuously showed their support and encouragement for Miles to finish high school and go to college, for which his family is very thankful. Miles loved all kinds of animals and also spent time golfing, learning the game and learning to love the game. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
Miles was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Ferrell H. Davenport who always lovingly referred to Miles as “Smiles”; his paternal grandparents, Hubert and Christine Troxell; and two uncles, Ferrell Davenport, Jr., and Allen Davenport.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Miles are his mother, Lisa D. Troxell of Perry; his father, Kenneth Troxell of Perry; his brothers, Taylor Troxell (Kelly) and Logan Troxell (Marie), both of Perry; his maternal grandmother, Brenda A. Davenport of Cordele; his uncles, John Steve Davenport (Leslie) of Warner Robins, Jimmie Troxell (Kelly) of Leesburg, and David Troxell (Peggy) of Laurinburg, NC; his aunt, Aras Troxell; numerous cousins; and the one who has made him smile for over seven years, the one he called “my girl,” Dana Padgett of Macon.
Condolence messages for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
